New Mexico Home Security Systems
Located in the southwestern region of the United States of America, the State of New Mexico has been the land of Native American dwellers. Albuquerque is the largest city of this state and its capital is Santa Fe. This state is abbreviated as NM US-NM.
Currently, its population reached 2,499,481 in number. The percentage of Hispanic Americans in the State of Mexico is the highest among U.S. states. The immigrants and those who are related to Spanish colonists are included in the said percentage. Also, the third highest percentage of Native Americans next to Alaska and Oklahoma is of this state. They ranked fifth place in the total number of Native Americans following California, Oklahoma, Arizona, and Texas
The Navajo and Pueblo peoples are included in the tribes that are represented in the state. Because of the influences of the Spanish, American Indian, and Mexicans in their culture, the state’s demographics and culture have been unequalled. The State of New Mexico also belongs to a U.S. territory, the Imperial Spanish viceroyalty of New Spain, and Mexico.
Reaching 1,819,046 in number of population in the year 2000, New Mexico ranked 36th in state population. On the one hand, they also ranked 3rd in the number of highest Crime Index among different states. New Mexico usually ranked in the top ten among the highest crime rates in the US. In the year 2005 recorded in Santa Fe, there had been 260 assaults, 44 cases of forcible rape, and 70 robberies.
They provide different sites to serve the people and to prevent crime rates from going up. As the population rises in number, the crime goes up too. But they are doing some actions to diminish the crime rates in their state. In 2006, the number of crime rates has been recorded by New Mexico Law Enforcement Agency. The violent crimes reached 12,572 in number. 132 cases of murder, 1,094 Forcible rape cases, 2,105 Robbery cases, 9,241 cases of Aggravated Assault, 20,909 cases of Burglary, 46,822 cases of Larceny Theft and 9,255 Vehicle theft incidents are the other crimes that are listed on their report.
The National Insurance Crime Bureau recorded the rank and the vehicle that are usually subjected to car burglary. Ranking number 1 is the 1995 Ford F150 Series and next to it is the 1992 Chevrolet Full Size C/K 1500 Pick up. 1992 Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee, 2004 Dodge Ram Pickup and the 1994 Honda Accord follow the rank of mostly stolen vehicles. People then must have to be aware of what is happening in their surrounding. The government must then be strict when it comes to security in order to protect the people from rising rate of crime.
