Vermont Home Security Systems
On the northeastern part of the United States of America lies the New England region where the state of Vermont can be found, a small state to have a total land area of 9,250 sq. mi. making it the2nd least populated among all the states of the United States of America (with Wyoming as the 1st least populated state). The state of Vermont is very popular because of its production of dairy products and it is also the top industry in producing maple syrup. The state was believed to be primarily lived both by Iroquois and Abenaki, tribes of Native Americans. Some other countries also claimed possession of Vermont like France but after their defeat, British took over possessing such claim over Vermont.
Even colonies fought over the control of the state such as New York and Hampshire until the time came that it was declared to be an independent state, as it was the primary state that was included in the 13 original states of United States of America. From the gathered statistics, data show that population size of Vermont state increased from 608,827 in the year 2000 to 623,908 in the year 2006. Taking into consideration that in the year 2000, Vermont was the 2nd least populated state all over America, the size has nothing to do or is significantly affecting the occurrence of different crimes.
As of the updated reports in the year 2006, Vermont State has a total of 2,441 Crime Index Rate per 100,000 people. It is divided into Violent Crime (137 incidents per 100,000 people) and Property Crime (2,305 incidents per 100,000 people. Violent Crime rate is distributed into 4 categories: 2 Murder incidents, 24 Forced Rape incidents, 18 Robbery incidents and 93 Aggravated Assault incidents (all incidents noted are per 100,000 people). Property Crime rate is distributed into 3 categories: 529 Burglary incidents, 1,682 Larceny theft incidents and 94 Vehicle theft incidents (all incidents noted are per 100,000 people).
These numbers may seem low but they are actually high. These numbers mean that both the government and the residents of Vermont State are not yet doing their 100% capacity to take the necessary measures in order to prevent such crime incidents. They have a lot of choices and options to choose from and all that they need to do is be able to choose the best and the most important options not only for their own safety but for everybody’s sake.
